Christmas cards for the Littlies.

Each year I make cards for all the littlies I know. Most of them are around 2 - 3 years old, so this year I'm going with a snow scene. This one is made using "Penny Black" christmas stamps. the card is folded to look like hills and the little characters coloured glittered and arranged over the three "hills"! What do you think about this design, please let me know as I love to receive your views. Well off to see what mischief Ziggy has got himself into whilst I've been writting all this.

Why we've been sooo busy

This is Ziggy, my daughters Sheba (not sure if thats how to spell the breed???) My daughter has been taken off to Brittany for two weeks, so we are looking after Ziggy!! Never having had a dog in my life I find it tiring but fascinating. He is georgious though, he's 6 months old, will not go into his puppy crate at night loves to go for walks and eating tissues!!!

My Daughters Xmas card

I have been busy again making my daughters Christmas card. It seemed to take ages. First I stamped and coloured all 12 days of Christmas, then cut them out and make a concertina card, Made thee into a little book and made a box to put it in. I like it, hope she does after all that work!!!

Pink Elephant Challenge

Well, after making a Christmas Card the logical card to make is a "Summer" card. Had a look on "Pink Elephant" to see what their challenge is and made this card using another stamp I got at the Stamarama, It's a Sarh Kay, can't tell you if she has a name as I can't find the wrapper under all the bits of paper on the desk, but I'm pleased with the effect, and the stamp is soo clear. What do you think? I coloured it using the Pro Markers again, they are definitely different to using water colour and a Koi pen!! But again I'm pleased with the results. The paper is Basic Grey "Two Scoops" I think, as most of my papers are out of the books now as I keep trying them against cards etc, then I just put them in a box, all mixed up!! Oh dear one day I'll surprise myself and put everything away properly!!

Christmas Card

Well after a busy weekend visiting an old work mate (and having a great time)I sat down tonight and made a couple of cards (I was getting withdrawal symptoms!!)So the first one is a "Christmas Card" Oh no it's that time of year again!! But I really enjoyed this one. I used a couple of stamps I bought at the Stevenage Stamarama. The main stamp is a Penny Black coloured with my new Pro Markers (Whoo Hoo!!!) and the Boarder is made using a corner stamp by Clear Impressions. A bit of ribbon from the stash, glase on the baubles and decoupaged the mouse. The " We wish you a Merry Christmas" is also a Penny Black that I got my hands on last year!!

Funky Hand Challenge

Did you know that "Funky Hand" have just started a new challenge blog, it's name is "getfunkychallenge". The first one is on now, and to help you along Anice has made available some free downloads!!! They are great!! The colours are out of this world. The prize is £20 of goodies from Funky Hand.Follow the link on my left hand bar.
So I have downloaded the freebies, and attempted to do the sketch justice?
The ice cream is done using a sizzix die on the Cuttlebug, and the sentiment is just text on the computer printed onto Folex "sticky Jet" this mean that I can make my own sentiments and then just stick them on, and they are on clear film so the backgrounds show through!!! neat huh!!

Card for Lewis

Hi all, I have been a really bad blogger for over a month now, but in my defence I have been to my little house in Spain! The weather over there has been soo hot!!! But anyway I'm back now and can't wait to get card making again. This is one I made today for my neighbours grandson Lewis. He will be 2 years old in a couple of days, and like most small boys he loves trucks, vans , bikes etc. so I'm hoping he likes this fire engine.
I cut a piece of white card 12in. x 8in and folded a third over. The image is from a CD rom that my husband bought for me years ago. I printed 4 copies and decoupaged it. Mounted on silver mirri card from stash, and red card from stash. Added 3 eyeletts and a message printed on the computer. Nice and bright don't you think??? The inside is done on the computer using the same image.
