Wedding card

Well, someone asked me today if I'd make them a wedding card, but to keep it simple? This is the result and I'm really pleased with it! The picture doesn't show the swirls of glitter too much but I was really pleased, and so was she! It is an A4 white card, the pink swirls I did on the computer, the glitter was with a swirl stamp by basic grey and glamour dust, 7 white jewels from stash and a small piece of white and pink ribbon from stash. The writing I did on the computer and cut it out with a craft knife, tied the white ribbon around the join of the "O" and the "W", and sat back and felt really happy with myself!! The insert had the same pink swirls and a personal message. WOW isn't craft great!!!LOL

Carol's Sketch Fun Challenge

Have you all been across to Carol's new Challenge blog??? If no, then why not? This is her challenge this week with some fab prizes, so really worth having a go. This is my entry done with another of the new "Fairy Doodles" stamps I think they are great! and really easy to colour! I coloured this little "Plantpot fairy" (that's not really her name!) with Marvey La Plumbe pens and a couple of "Sakura Pens and then glittered over while they were wet (on her wings etc.)The pretty daisy paper is one from the "Joanna Sheen" "Baby Love" CD. and the rest is bits from the stash. I love the design, really makes "Plant pot fairy" stand out don't you think? So click on the link to Carol's new blog on the right of this page and have a go....

Oh no! the dreaded men's cards!!!

Today I have had to make not one, not two but three men's cards! As you will know if you have been here before I hate making for men, i never know what to do. So this time as I have just purchased a "Joanna Sheen" CD Rom by Jayne Netley Mayhew (an artist who specialises in wild life) I thought I'd try it out! The "Tiger" card is for one of my brothers in law. I simply could not give him another car or bike card, so I did the tiger!! the Mere Cat card is for my other brother in law, who again I usually make a rugby card for but he loves "Mere cats" so I thought this would be good, and last but not least is a "Golf card" for my Father in law. He's 86 years young and still plays golf twice a week, so it really couldn't be anything else for him could it??
